Born in 1949 in Mediniskiai, Lithuania, to a Lithuanian-Polish family, Stasys Eidrigevicius studied at the Kaunas School of Applied Arts and then at the Vilnius Academy of Fine Arts until 1973.
He first went to Poland, then the most open country in the Eastern Bloc.
In 1980, he moved to Warsaw, where he initially became known for his small-format works. He later created bookplates and children's book illustrations.
He subsequently created numerous theater and film posters while working in many other artistic fields such as painting, sculpture, miniatures, and photography.
